WHY VITAMIN D IS THE STAR OF THE SHOW

Vitamin D, however, may be the most critical nutrient of all. A 2026 review by Lee, Park, and Han in Nutrients investigated Vitamin D's remarkable role as an immune regulator across several major degenerative diseases, including musculoskeletal disorders. (2) Their research describes how Vitamin D doesn't simply support calcium absorption for strong bones — it actively modulates the immune system to help impede the inflammatory and degenerative processes that damage joints and spinal tissues over time. Given that Vitamin D deficiency is so common — especially in northern regions where sun exposure is limited for much of the year — this is a nutritional gap that deserves extra attention.
